“Without our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals and help those underprivileged communities, as our work completely depends on our volunteers' involvement...together we can provide support to the less privileged people of India to develop the knowledge and skills which will assist them in leading positive and independent lives..." Ravi, Founder
The project provides regular assistance to schools, child care centres and children’s homes around the city of Udaipur. As education is key to solving many of the root causes of poverty, the improved educational facilities help to improve the future for the children.
With the support of volunteers the team in India have made classrooms water tight and painted community classrooms which help to create an inspiring learning environment for the local children. The project has improved child care centres’ playgrounds to ensure that they have safe and secure outdoor play area.
The project is based on the outskirts of Udaipur, which is a colourful Indian city with palaces and temples surrounded by mountains and with two lakes at its centre.
