Travel Insurance

SAFETY

Travel insurance is essential and Pod requires that you have suitable travel insurance

Travel insurance is required for all our placements to provide cover in the unlikely event of something going wrong while you are away. There are many different providers offering policies and we have included two below for you to consider.

Remember

  • Arrange it once your placement has been reconfirmed / you book your flights (so that you have cancellation cover)
  • Check what Covid-19 cover it provides
  • Make sure it covers volunteering and any other activities you may want to do
  • If you have pre-existing medical conditions, declare them and check if they are covered

TRAILFINDERS INSURANCE - FOR UK AND EUROPEAN RESIDENTS

Trailfinders offers a comprehensive policy including Covid-19 cover for cancellation prior to travel, curtailment of your trip, quarantine, and medical expenses whilst overseas.

For more details please see www.trailfinders.com/insurance

BANNER INSURANCE - FOR UK RESIDENTS
