It’s been another incredible year at our Marine Conservation project in Thailand

The team are based on the tropical island of Koh Tao and help to educate, protect and preserve the marine environment. Thank you so much for each and every Pod Volunteer who has joined to support their brilliant work.

  • Worked with the local preschool to fundraise for them and organize activities to practice their English and swimming skills

And so much more

The Marine Conservation project is a great option for both beginner and experienced divers. If you haven’t dived before then the team can help guide you through your Open water and Advanced dive qualifications when you arrive on the island. More experienced divers can get straight into helping the conservation work.

With 300 days of sunshine a year, bright blue and warm water, vibrant reefs and vast array of marine life the waters around Koh Toa are a world-class place to dive.

Koh Tao is a beautiful tropical island with a laid back lifestyle, stunning beaches and lots of restaurants to sample some delicious Thai delicacies.

It has been a wonderful year and we’re excited to see what 2026 has in store! If you would like to join the Marine Conservation team in Thailand then head to our project page to find out more: www.podvolunteer.org/projects/marine-conservation-thailand
