Dive Expedition
This expedition suits those who love the deep blue and want an exciting challenge, while gaining some PADI dive qualifications. The expedition heads to Koh Tao, an idyllic and fun island, which is now one of the world’s top dive training locations.

A typical expedition
The expedition will be split into 3 parts, with the main emphasis on diving:
- Acclimatisation - a chance to settle in to Thailand and enjoy the island of Koh Tao. It is important to physically acclimatise before starting the diving and there must be at least 24 hours between flying and starting to dive
- Diving
Option 1 - become a PADI Advanced Diver and then do some additional dives to build experience
Option 2 - become a PADI Advanced Diver and then go on to do a 7 day marine conservation research diver certification and reef survey project
- Relaxation - this can simply be a day at the end or can incorporate other activities such as a short trek, visit to a National Park, or a Bangkok culture & markets tour. Again there must be at least 24 hours between finishing the diving and taking a flight
As well as diving, the team will take time out to explore the island with options such as snorkelling with Black Tip sharks, learning to cook Thai food, or visiting a health Spa.
By the end of the expedition, team members will have gained dive qualifications enabling them to go on and dive confidently anywhere in the world, as well as having had an amazing time in this beautiful part of Thailand.
Requirements
There is no need to have any diving qualifications to join our expeditions, although we do strongly recommend trying diving with a local dive club in the UK (this can just be in a swimming pool). A diving medical questionnaire must be completed to ensure there are no medical issues which could prevent diving.
